JeanBURGESSPeacefully at rest on Friday 12th April 2024 whilst in the care of Tall Oaks Care Home, Jean aged 88 years of Newchapel, now reunited with her beloved husband Edwyn.

A much loved mum of Keith, Neil and Mark, loved mother-in-law of Julie, Dawn and Joanne, treasured nan of Ricky, Tina, Lisa, Stephen, Leanne, Jake and Allana and a loved great-nan and sister.

Jean will be sadly missed by all her loving family and friends.

Funeral service to take place at Bradwell Crematorium on Tuesday 7th May at 10.40am. No flowers by request please, donations preferred in memory of Jean to the Douglas Macmillan Hospice.

Mourning attire is not essential.

Fondest memories of a very dear friend of the family and respected neighbour. Jean will be remembered by many as the happy, smiling lady behind the counter at Cotterills' shop putting together a ten pence mixture or weighing out a quarter of cola cubes - happy days. Now reunited with her beloved Ed. God bless you both xx
